Willing hands plant community garden
1 min read

ENTHUSIASM was to the fore at Boort District Health last week when volunteers teamed with staff to plant seedlings for the next stage of development of the community garden.
Volunteers were also assisted by Will Sanson and Gus Gould from Loddon Plains Landcare Network for the Healthy Loddon Campaspe project.
“Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who took time out of their morning to join us and help plant some seedlings in our community garden,” said CEO Donna Doyle.
“Volunteers and staff planted an array of vegetables including spinach, lettuce, beetroot, zucchini and silver beet.
“We are very appreciative of the growing interest shown in the development of the garden and look forward to seeing the space progress.”
Donna said BDH was looking forward to volunteers continuing to be part of the project or donating plants.
