FRIENDS are strengthening the circle of support for the devastated family of a three-year-old toddler killed in at tragic caravan fire at Boort on Thursday evening.
More than $5000 has already been raised through a gofundme appeal started on Sunday morning with the blessing of the toddler's parents Ben and Lori Keeble.
Friend Luci Mayer says Ben and Lori have "experienced something that no parent ever should ... a tragic holiday accident has taken the life of their little boy.
"They are now facing the reality of finding the strength, and finances to organise a funeral, whilst trying to find a way to continue with their every day lives.
"With blessings from the family I have decided to start this go-fund-me to raise money for the family to have some financial breathing room in this time of despair."
The family asked Boort District Health chief executive officer Donna Doyle to release a statement on their behalf on Friday.
The family said they were "wrapping their love around each other" and asked for their privacy to be respected.
